This Privacy Policy describes how Sales Ask Ltd. and its affiliated companies (collectively, “Sales Ask”, “we”, “our” or “us”) collect, store, use and disclose the following categories of personal data:

  • Customer Data: personal data (as defined in Section 1) that we collect, process and manage on behalf of our business customers (each, a “Customer”; collectively, “Customers”), as part of the Sales Ask products and services described on one or more applicable order forms (“Platform”).
  •  We process such Customer Data on behalf of and under the instruction of the respective Customer. Accordingly, this Privacy Policy (which describes Sales Ask’s privacy and data processing practices) does not apply to the privacy and data processing practices of our Customers. To learn about the privacy policy and practices of our Customers, please contact them directly.
  • User Data: personal data concerning individuals acting on behalf of our Customers in respect of their engagement with Sales Ask, and users of the Platform on behalf of such Customers, e.g., the account administrators and users, billing contacts and authorized signatories on behalf of the Customer (collectively, “Users”); as well as the Customer’s business needs and preferences, as identified to us or recognized through our engagement with them.
  • Prospect Data: data relating to visitors of our website (www.salesask.com
  • ), participants at our events, and any other prospective customer, user or partner (collectively, “Prospects”) who visits or otherwise interacts with our website, online ads and content, emails, integrations or communications under our control (the “Sites”, and collectively with the Platform, the “Services”).

If you are a Customer, User or Prospect, please read this Privacy Policy carefully and make sure that you fully understand it.

Our Services are designed for businesses and are not intended for personal or household use. Accordingly, we treat all personal data covered by this Privacy Policy, including information about any visitors to our Sites, as pertaining to individuals acting as business representatives, rather than in their personal capacity.

You are not legally required to provide us with any personal data. If you do not wish to provide us with your personal data, or to have it processed by us or any of our Service Providers (as defined below), please do not provide it to us and avoid any interaction with us or with our Sites, or use our Services.

1. Data Collection & Processing

When we use the terms “personal data” or “personal information” in this Privacy Policy, we mean information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, to an individual. It does not include aggregated or deidentified information that is maintained in a form that is not reasonably capable of being associated with or linked to an individual.

Sometimes we collect personal data automatically when an individual interacts with our Services and sometimes we collect personal data directly from an individual. At times, we may collect personal data about an individual from other sources and third parties (such as our Customers and Service Providers), even before our first direct interaction.

We may collect or generate the following types of personal data about individuals through the Services:

  • Usage, login credentials, and device information concerning Users and Prospects (connectivity, technical and aggregated usage data, such as user agent, IP addresses and approximate location based upon such IP addresses, device data (like type, OS, device id, browser version, locale and language settings used), activity logs, session recordings, log-in credentials to the Services, the cookies and pixels installed or utilized on their device, and inferred or presumed data generated from their use of the Services).
  • Information concerning our Customers, Users and Prospects contact and business details such as name, email, phone number, position, workplace and related business insights, our communications with such individuals (correspondences, sensory information including call and video recordings, and transcriptions and analyses thereof), feedback and testimonials received, contractual and billing details, as well as any expressed, presumed or identified needs, preferences, attributes and insights relevant to our potential or existing engagement.
  • Personal data contained in Customer Data which is provided by our Customers or processed on their behalf and under their instruction. This may include any of the types of personal data described above (with respect to Users or other individuals whose data is contained in the Customer Data).

2. Data Uses

We use personal data as necessary for the performance of our Services (“Performance of Contract”); to comply with our legal and contractual obligations (“Legal Obligation”); and to support our legitimate interests in maintaining and improving our Services (“Legitimate Interests”).

If you reside or are using the Services in a territory governed by privacy laws under which “consent” is the only or most appropriate legal basis, your acceptance of our Terms and Conditions and this Privacy Policy will be deemed as your consent, unless applicable law requires a different form of consent.

Specifically, we use personal data for the following purposes:

  • To facilitate, operate, enhance, and provide our Services.
  • To provide assistance and support, to test and monitor the Services, or diagnose/fix technology problems.
  • To personalize our Services and improve user experience.
  • To provide and optimize marketing campaigns, ads, and sales operations.
  • To facilitate events, contests and promotions.
  • To understand how individuals use and interact with our Services and improve our offerings.
  • To contact Customers, Users and Prospects with service-related or promotional communications.
  • To support data security and prevent fraud or unlawful activity.
  • To create aggregated, anonymized, or pseudonymized data.
  • To enforce our Terms, resolve disputes, and protect business interests.
  • To comply with legal obligations.
  • For any other lawful purpose or other purpose consented to.

3. Recording Transparency and Consent

SalesAsk provides tools that may enable Customers to record conversations (including phone calls, video meetings, or in-home discussions). SalesAsk requires all Customers and Users to comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws when using these recording features, including laws that mandate notification or consent from all participants in a conversation.

SalesAsk encourages Customers to provide clear and lawful disclosures when using recording features and offers product guidance to help Customers configure the Platform in a compliant manner. However, SalesAsk does not determine the exact form or manner of such disclosures, and Customers remain solely responsible for ensuring their own compliance with applicable laws.

SalesAsk expressly prohibits the use of its Services for covert or unlawful recording, and reserves the right to suspend or terminate Services for Customers who misuse the Platform in violation of law or this Policy.

4. Data Location

We and our authorized Service Providers maintain, store and process personal data in the United States, Europe, Israel and other locations, as reasonably necessary. SalesAsk is committed to protecting personal data in accordance with this Policy and customary industry standards.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our Services, comply with legal obligations, and protect our interests. Retention periods vary based on the type of data and applicable legal requirements.

6. Data Disclosure

We disclose personal data in the following ways:

  • Service Providers: including hosting, payment processing, analytics, fraud prevention, customer support, etc.
  • Partnerships: business/channel partners, resellers, distributors.
  • Service Integrations: if Customers connect SalesAsk with third-party platforms.
  • Event Sponsors: if you attend or register for events.
  • Business Customers: who have access to Customer Data processed on their behalf.
  • Legal Compliance: in response to subpoenas, court orders, or applicable law.
  • Protecting Rights and Safety: where necessary to protect SalesAsk or the public.
  • Subsidiaries and Affiliates: including during mergers, acquisitions, or corporate changes.
  • Other lawful purposes: where approved or anonymized.

7. Cookies and Data Collection Technologies

We use cookies, pixels and other technologies for essential site functions, analytics, personalization, and advertising. Users can manage cookie preferences via browser settings or our “Cookie Settings” tool.

8. Communications

  • Service Communications: required notices (e.g., password resets, billing).
  • Promotional Communications: emails, SMS, or calls about features, events, or offers (with opt-out options available).

9. Data Security

We implement systems, applications and procedures designed to secure personal data.

Recordings and transcripts are encrypted in transit and at rest, with access limited to authorized Users and Service Providers under strict contractual confidentiality obligations.

10. Data Controller/Processor

SalesAsk acts as:

  • Controller for Prospect Data.
  • Processor for Customer Data (on behalf of Customers).
  • Controller and Processor for User Data (depending on context).

Our Customers are responsible for lawful use of our Services, including providing adequate notice and obtaining consent when recording or processing personal data. SalesAsk supports compliance through product guidance and policy enforcement but does not determine the precise form of Customer disclosures. SalesAsk does not permit covert or unlawful recording.

11. Additional Notices & Contact

  • Updates: This Policy may be updated periodically. Material changes will be notified.
  • External Links: Not responsible for third-party sites linked from our Services.
  • Children: Services not intended for individuals under 16.
  • SMS Notifications: By opting in, you consent to receive SMS about demos, scheduling, or follow-ups. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP.
  • Use of Google Workspace APIs: SalesAsk does not use Google Workspace APIs to develop, improve, or train generalized AI/ML models. Use is limited to compliance with Google’s Workspace API User Data Policy.
